King Soloman, the book of Psalms, and our Ego

The History Channel says that experts think that King Soloman probably wrote the book of the bible caled Psalms.

I really think that most of the bible is speaking not to our selves, rather to our egos: “the Lord is my sheppard,, my EGO shall not want…”

John Bradshaw says that roughly 80% of the bible is symbols and that a symbol participates in that which it reveals.

Jesus is said to have said: “… those that have eyes to see”, “…those that have ears to hear”

If one was speaking to another persons Ego, this would be true.
